Trompe l’oeil means “fooling the eye” in French.This painting was the final project for another one of my foundation DRAW 101. This project was a to make a self Portrait with objects rather than a representational one. This painting was done in Pastels on an Arches Cover paper. The cloth was my brother’s Scarf, whom I miss. The ping pong paddle is for something I learned at SCAD other than in classes. I miss cricket which my friends and me used to play with a Tennis Ball in india.
